Idea for LARPing armor

To all,

I'm posting this as I read this off of Rachel Newman's FB post and I thought this is a great idea for some cheap Ringmail or Chainmail armor. Here is the article:

Two costume makers LOST THEIR FINGERPRINTS working on The Lord of the Rings.

To clarify, chainmail is a type of armor made from small metal rings linked together in a mesh. For LOTR, two people had to construct hundreds of chainmail costumes out of PVC pipe.

When all was said and done, a total of 12.5 million links had been fashioned out of 7 miles of PVC pipe! As a result of all this tedious labor, the two workers ended up rubbing the fingerprints off of their thumbs and forefingers!

pvc? I guess they slice small rings and paint them?

Well... you should know by now that if I make somethin it's gunna have some shimmer to it.

Terik is very secure in his sexuallity, new fighting prowess, and most importantly in his new armor.

actually, the rindmail should give bonus vs vornae and other darkseekers

Key word "Should" , but the good thing is you got this armor as a back up to the sparkly armor.
