just my point, they are basically useless, but if they were worth more a bless stacked with magic armor might be effective in a battle, especially with charier attacks

Even if it where worth +5, I don't know that would elect it over a Magic Armor? .... !!!

yes but a bless potion with a magic armor stacked on top would be worth it.

To all,

Bless + Greater Bless + Shield + Greater Shield = 12 free hits

E'nick still uses these 12 free hits as that keeps him casting spells while being hit. I suggest buying potions and scrolls that give you the effect. But its not worth doing after every battle just when you start in the morning, begining of an event, etc...

T.,

Correct me if I am wrong, but Bless and Greater Bless add 6 body points, but it still counts as Body. So if you get hit and it only goes into your Bless, that still counts as body, so your spell would be interrupted. Though Shield and G. Shield would stop the damage from going into body.

Just for clarification, as I have seen it played both ways.

Thanks,
-N

Oh.... And Kelvaren also ALWAYS has these up (at least until my potions run out). Can't tell you how many times I have escaped with only 1 or 2 body points.

In Potion Form/Scroll form then yes, I would keep them up as well! ....

** Guess it now time for Oct Production! ... lol **

Yes what is SWVs official ruling on Intertupting at body with Blesses in place??

Noah,

Here is the wording right out of the book:

Bless

This spell gives the recipient two extra Body Points. These points are the first Body Points lost to damage. As long as these points last, they will protect a spellcaster so spells may be cast while taking damage.

Greater Bless

This spell gives the recipient 4 extra Body Points. These points are the first Body Points lost to damage. As long as these points last, they will protect a spellcaster so spells may be cast while taking damage.

This is in the NERO 8th Edition Rule book, so thats offical.
