Fighting has stopped in the trenches in the Southern March.

Those in the Honest Nobleman Taproom can tell the mood for the city is very much up turned as they give praise to those fighting for Avalon's Crown and soldiers of the 3rd Platoon of Naringal who came with the artillery just the other day to aid their allies. The soldiers that have been given relief are bought drinks and patted on the back by their fellows for the job they have done protecting Stormberg.

You will also notice that many of the soldiers that have been given relief are bandaged and quite muddy. They state that the allied forces have pushed back the Bog Hags, thanks to Lt. Terik Locklain's sections and the new reinforcements sent by Lord Tel'Daarn Ebonwyrm. Those soldiers who returned covered in mud smell of a strange stench that must only come from the Vintergras Moor.

The forces are currently at a stalemate again and each side is dug in creating a new "No Man's Land."
